Emma is crawling

Emma is crawling really well now. There is no where she can't go, unless we block it with pillows. She is a professional army crawler, she can get up on her knees, but decides that she can get there faster with an army crawl. She's so fast when she sees something she really wants! And of course everything she really wants, she can't have.

Happy New Year!

Our good friends Andy & Nichole Merrill and Jamie, Betsy, Micah, & Kate Zile came to visit over New Year's. We had our "5 year" reunion. Lots of fun! This was the first time that Emma has played with another baby. Kate kept being a bully and pulling Emma's pacifier out of her mouth :)

Emma's first trip to the beach

Even though it was cold, we still had to go just to say that we went! It was very sunshiny and beautiful.

Uncle Chris, a proud Uncle

Before we left Sarasota, we had breakfast with Uncle Chris at our favorite breakfast place: First Watch.

Christmas at Grandma's in Sarasota

We went to Sarasota for Christmas. Emma's first plane ride. She did great both ways. She slept the whole time. She had a great time with Grandma, Uncle Chris, and Aunt Lori.

Grandma Furlong | Theres the Bag

We dropped her off at airport soon after her Birthday Lunch lunch at Papa Vino's and promised that we would send bag to her soon. 5 minutes from leaving airport April and I decide that we should make an impromptu trip to Florida to deliver the bag, Visit mom on her Birthday (the 11th) and introduce Emma to her Uncle Chris & Aunt Lori, a trip that went remarkably well for a 3 week old.

Grandma Furlong | Where's the bag?

Pre-arranged tickes to arrive soon after Emma was born, Grandma came in and helped us a lot around the new house and her new grand-baby.

This picture shows her reaction to my comment made 1.5 hours before she was to leave on a plane back to florida. (note we were an hour from home) Comment "Mom, I'm pretty sure I left your bag in the house when we left"

She thought I was kidding till i popped the trunk.. Stroller, Check. Bag, hmmm back home in foyer, check.
